MUSE Community + Design is growing again! We are pleased to announce our newest addition: Nina Idemudia, AICP. Nina specializes in equitable community development, inclusive outreach, and organizational innovation for large metropolitan areas. As a native Detroiter, Nina understands firsthand how the built environment shapes the lives of society’s most vulnerable populations. This fuels her passion for empowering citizens to be change agents through planning.

“I am thrilled to have Nina join my firm. Her broad experience and unique perspective will be an invaluable asset to our clients and partners.”
– Courtney Kashima, AICP, Founding Principal

Prior to moving to Chicago, Nina was a planner for the City of Los Angeles where she worked on Current and Long-Range Planning as well as Performance Management. Most recently, Nina was a Coordinating Planner for the City of Chicago’s Department of Planning and Development.

“I am excited to join the MUSE team as their Director of Planning. I look forward to bringing my public sector experience to the private realm. MUSE has a purpose that I believe in, which mirrors the impact I have worked towards in my career.” – Nina Idemudia, AICP
