MEET LIZBETH
Growing up in Chicago, Lizbeth experienced first-hand how City programs improve people’s lives. Her experiences volunteering across the city shaped her approach to amplifying communities’ voices and ideas. She is a firm believer that la comunidad es siempre en el mente y en el frente (the community is always in front and in mind).
Prior to joining MUSE, Lizbeth worked with the Steans Center at DePaul University where she researched food security across Chicago. She has a Masters in Sustainable Urban Development from DePaul University and a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies and Sustainable Cities from the University of Illinois Chicago. Lizbeth serves on the Board of Directors of Delta Emerging Leaders, and associate board for Delta Institute.
