MEET KENNEDY
A lifelong resident of Chicago’s South Side, Kennedy’s experience of inequitable urban planning outcomes – like commuting 90 minutes each way to high school – motivates her work as a planner. She’s interested in the ways green space and public art can facilitate greater community engagement and connectedness.
Kennedy has a Master of Arts in Urban Planning with a concentration on Social Justice and Community Development and a Bachelor of Arts in Urban and Regional Planning from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
