MEET FIONA
Fiona is enthusiastic about the work at MUSE and always up for learning a new skill, exploring a new topic, and generally doing what it takes to help the team succeed. She takes an accessibility-first approach to designing engagement activities, making sure planning processes are welcoming to all community members.
Prior to joining MUSE, Fiona was a research assistant at UIC’s Great Lakes ADA Center and worked on the deployment of the sidewalk accessibility tool Project Sidewalk. In recognition of her work managing the equity program for Heartland B-cycle, Fiona was named a 2021 Change Maker at the Greater Omaha Chamber’s Young Professionals Summit.
Fiona has a Master of Urban Planning & Policy degree from University of Illinois Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Loyola University Chicago.
