Steph Nappa - Associate

Steph Nappa (she/her) is a transportation planner with a passion for supporting communities in building safe and accessible transportation options. She thrives in developing strong working relationships across jurisdictional boundaries and amongst diverse stakeholders.

Steph’s professional career began at Oregon Cascades West Council of Governments supporting transportation projects across a three-county region. Her work in Oregon included bikeshare planning and management, transit planning, Safe Routes to School programs, and staffing a regional transportation advisory committee. She received her Master of Community and Regional Planning from the University of Oregon in 2018. Through her studies, Steph had the opportunity to visit Denmark and the Netherlands to learn from their approach to bicycle infrastructure and urban design. This experience informed her planning philosophy that streets intentionally designed for the safety of children and families will support vibrant, healthy, livable communities.
