Katrina Balog (she/her) is passionate about engaging and empowering communities to accomplish their goals. She brings over 10 years of community and economic development experience and organizational management expertise to MUSE clients.

Previously, she was the executive director of the Edgewater Chamber of Commerce where she managed a Special Service Area, increased membership revenue, developed new programs, and worked to improve Edgewater’s overall small business climate. 

Prior to her work in Chicago, she worked in Detroit as a Transportation Planner for the Southeast Michigan Council of Governments.  She received her Masters of Urban Planning from Wayne State in Detroit.
