This DuPage County suburb sought to improve the urban design, character, and traffic flow within its historic downtown while making necessary utility upgrades. MUSE designed and executed a robust and inclusive engagement strategy that included a walking tour with stakeholders, a multi-station charrette, website, and a targeted social media campaign. 

To engage community members during the pandemic, MUSE used QR codes on signage and sidewalk decals for residents and business owners to weigh in on their preferred streetscape elements. 

MUSE is continuing engagement during project construction, supporting efforts and designing materials to keep the public informed about construction impacts.
